The single-arm slewing davit is a freestanding deck-mounted davit consisting of a davit arm, column (fixed or rotating) and electric rescue boat winch. In cases where manual slewing is not allowed by the flag state, a hydraulic slewing davit from the hydraulic series can be used as an alternative.
